We hope you love it as much as we do…..
Coming very soon, we can’t wait to share our new Outdoor Collection with you all…..
Currently Coveting: As we start to get a tiny taste of spring outdoors our March lust list is given a fresh spring palette. We love the mixture of creamy pastels teamed with bright accents all set off on a neutral backdrop, making all of the featured products irresistible. The arrow feather scarf from Nuno (featured in the center) is at the top of our list with its monochrome base accented with beautiful coloured stripes. Equally Amanda Dziedzic Glass cloches (bottom left) have caught our eye, such lovely glass tones, we want all four!

Our new collection is very nearly ready for launch, therefore it’s time for our third and final post to introduce it. Entitled ‘The Potting Shed’ here you’ll see the potting house that we dream of, a rustic haven that you can retreat to for aptly potting around. Weathered terracotta and worn woods team perfectly with fresh sapling greens, a palette that we have adopted within our own collection. We can’t wait to share it with you in its entirety, not long now……

Outdoors / Indoors: The second post about our forthcoming collection is all about bringing the outdoors indoors. This is something people are forever finding new and beautiful ways of doing so we have aimed to do exactly that with our new collection. As Gardens are often only utilised in fair weather it seems a shame not to enjoy flora and fauna inside all year round. Whether it’s a collection of pots, a well chosen terrarium or some freshly picked blooms, plants can make a huge difference to any interiors so we look forward to giving you lots of new ideas on how to introduce them.

The Gardener: You may have heard rumblings of a new collection coming soon to R&W. As always we like to edge you into a new assortment by giving you a little background on the work we’ve been undergoing for months if not years in the run up. ‘The Gardener’ is the first in a series of blog posts to reveal our thoughts on a new area within the home, or slightly outside the home to be precise, the Garden, and what does every Garden need, a Gardener. We were very inspired by images such as these where you get a feel for the person behind the garden, whether it be digging in the vegetable patch or collecting seasonal florals, this is our new customer so it only seemed right to begin with getting to know them a little better……

Artist Profile: If you visit the site frequently you may have spotted some beautiful artwork that perfectly props our products. These have all been created by the very talented Angela Uren, talented artist and wonderful mum to us all at R&W. Angela paints outside on the Somerset levels in the elements, recording landscapes, gardens and hedgerows in ink and oil. The colours she uses compliment so many of the shades within our store, working particularly well with our Linen sheeting. If you would like any more information on any of these pieces please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
In typical R&W style, here is our Valentines message to you all, we hope you all have a wonderful day……..

We have been doing a great deal of planting recently for both business and pleasure. We previously shared our obsession of planting succulents however this has now evolved into teaming them with cacti (which are not so comfortable to plant out!). Both of which are conveniently hard to kill off which is great news for our not so green fingers, we will soon be sharing our results however until then here are some great examples of other peoples prickly pickings.
